Account Manager – Subsea

The Role:

We are currently seeking a subsea Account Manager based at our Aberdeen site to establish and develop long-term relationships with customers in the Subsea Oil and Gas sectors in the UK and international markets.

The role will gain and develop market intelligence of the Subsea industry to anticipate customers’ current and future requirements to identify and win new business to achieve the objectives of the Viper Innovations business development plans.

Day to Day responsibilities:

At Viper Innovations you will be faced with a company that delivers first-class technical products with a first-class customer experience. The role will include but not limited to:

·       Act as first point of contact to build relationships within designated accounts to further Viper Innovations business and provide best in class sales service. Collaborate with sales and business development team, where applicable, to increase sales, account penetration and profitability.

·       Contribute to the development and execution of the sales and marketing strategies.

·       Own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to commercial proposal development, through to recording the outcome and closing the deal, maintaining overall account management responsibility.

·       Provide input and assistance with identifying product development requirements – specifically with respect to strategic and tactical technology needs.

The Person:

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within the industry and be able to demonstrate building sale accounts with large corporate organisations in subsea oil and gas markets. They need to have the ability to build and develop strong working relationships both externally and internally.

Being familiar with typical electrical power distribution system designs and equipment used in subsea oil and gas applications will be preferred. UK and international travel are essential and frequent in this role.
