Viper Innovations is delighted to announce the appointment of Thomas McCudden as Commercial Sales Manager for Subsea. The newly created role reflects Viper’s success in the global subsea oil & gas industry, where its award-winning products and services provide vital electrical monitoring and asset integrity solutions in over 20 countries. The breadth of expert skills and knowledge within Viper’s Subsea Sales Team enables delivery of the best possible service for their customers.

Thomas brings experience from his roles as a Global Sales Manager within the oilfield services sector including Blue Spark Energy, Proserv and Nautronix. Thomas has wide-ranging experience in subsea sales having delivered successful projects in the North Sea, West Africa, India, Far East and the Gulf of Mexico markets within oilfield services.

Thomas commented, “I am delighted to have joined Viper Innovations as Commercial Sales Manager for Subsea at an exciting time of growth, where the implementation of new technologies and innovations are key to the sustainability of existing and future subsea developments. Having previously delivered successful projects to a number of global operators, I hope to bring my knowledge of the subsea sector to successfully support the continued growth and deployment of the V-LIFE and V-LIM technologies.”

Subsea Sales Manager, James Carnegie, added, “It’s a pleasure to welcome Thomas to the team and I look forward working closely with him as we continue to support our current clients and focus upon our international growth. Thomas brings a wealth of international sales experience within the oil and gas industry. Thomas’s appointment further strengthens the subsea sales team during a period of continued growth.”

These appointments follow a number of other internal additions within the last 2 years, to expand the Aberdeen-based sales team and further enhance the global presence in support of our growing number of business development consultants.

Brazilian Business Development Manager Diego Baraldi joined the team remotely in April 2020 to strengthen Viper’s position in the South American market. This appointment was followed by Paul Upjohn in Australia, Karen Li in China and Mats Ekstrom in Norway at the end of 2021. These appointments were a key part of Viper’s international growth strategy to maintain and develop its customer base in core global markets within the subsea oil & gas industry.
