Subsea Expo 2020

February 14, 2020

It’s been a great week at the Subsea Expo and Awards, we’ve been fortunate to be involved with presenting, sponsoring and meeting new International contacts during the course of the event.

Viper’s Business Development Manager – Jeremy Edwards, presented at the Subsea Expo’s Subsea Tie-Backs Conference, the presentation was on ‘Subsea control system tie-backs to late-life assets; Managing the unknown’.

This was later followed by a meeting with the Department for International Trade (DIT) African Delegation, at the Expo’s ‘Innovation Subsea Trade Mission 2020’, where Oil and Gas representatives from Mozambique, Angola, Libya, Nigeria and Senegal where present. It was a great opportunity for us to discuss our expertise and product offering in the Subsea Oil & Gas sector.

The delegates showed a keen interest in Viper’s subsea products with particular focus on V-LIFE for its unique ‘healing’ solution of low insulation resistance – rejuvenating subsea control systems and extending field-life.

The meeting was held on the back of Viper’s recent export success in Egypt and Nigeria, where the first installations of V-LIFE were completed in both countries last year. We found the meeting extremely useful in identifying future African Markets and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Viper Innovations were also sponsors of the evening awards ceremony where Managing Director – Neil Douglas presented the Subsea UK award for ‘Best Small Company’ to winners KW Design Solutions. The Viper team were also joined by guests from BP, Shell and Royal Niger.
