We are currently seeking to appoint a Supply Chain and Production Team Lead based at our Portishead site. This exciting new role will be responsible for Supply Chain and Production management though out Viper’s product lifecycle and in support of the company’s strategic business goals. The role will be responsible for the ownership of all activities from onboarding and maintenance of the company supply base in relation to production of Viper’s products while providing continued focus on product and service supply, ensuring Viper exceeds customer expectations at all opportunities being the supplier of choice.
As this is a new appointment it is an opportunity to be part of the growth and development of the business as we move to new and exciting opportunities. The role will support business leadership in establishing and executing our strategic goals, ensuring inspirational leadership of the Supply Chain and Production Team identifying development opportunities and ensuring full engagement within the team.
As Supply Chain and Production Team Lead you will have significant experience of the day to day leadership and management of a team. You will be confident and experienced in the management of activities from onboarding and maintenance of a supply base, management of stock levels including continuous assessment of stock and competence to manage a product and service supply.
In this role communication is key, you will liaise with our key customers to ensure that we maintain our highest standard of service and exceed expectations. Communications at all levels of the business and with key contacts in all department is essential to the success of this role. Driving a passion for continuous improvement through our lessons learned process is also vital as is a proactive one team approach.
