CableGuardian for rail

We developed CableGuardian in collaboration with Network Rail as the UK’s first real-time cable monitoring and fault detection system for signalling power networks. It delivers continuous visibility of insulation resistance, capacitance, voltage, and current – replacing periodic manual testing with digital, condition-based monitoring.

Proven in operation since 2018, we now use CableGuardian to monitor over one million metres of signalling power cable, transforming rail maintenance and enhancing network reliability.
