Leadership Evolution Ushers in Viper Innovations’ Next Era of Growth

Bristol, 10th March 2026 – Viper Innovations, the global engineering specialist delivering intelligent electrical integrity solutions for industrial and subsea systems, today announces key leadership changes as the company enters the next phase of its growth journey.
With effect from 27 April 2026, Edward Davies will move from the role of Managing Director to Chairman. As part of this transition, Hugo Mansfield, previously Financial Director, will take on the role of Managing Director, with accountability for delivering Viper’s strategy, driving performance, nurturing company culture, and leading the business forward. A new Financial Director will also be appointed to strengthen the leadership team and support the company’s continued growth.
Edward joined Viper nearly six years ago as Managing Director, guiding the business through a period of significant evolution and strengthening. “Over the past six years, we’ve built a foundation of trust, innovation, and operational excellence, enabled by the commitment of our people and the partnership we have with our customers,” said Edward. “As Chairman, I will remain closely engaged, providing governance, constructive challenge, and continuity, while helping shape Viper’s long-term strategy.”
Hugo and Edward have worked closely together over the past five years to deliver measurable impact for customers and the business alike. Hugo will continue building on this success, bringing energy, focus, and strong leadership to the role.

Over the next month, there will be a period of handover across roles, with the new leadership structure fully in place by 27 April 2026.
