Viper Supports Australian Subsea Conference as Major Sponsor

Viper Innovations sponsored, exhibited, and presented at the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) Perth Branch Subsea Controls Down Under Conference which took place on the 28th – 30th October in Perth, Western Australia.
The event kicked off on the evening of 28th October with an ice-breaker at Fraser’s Restaurant in Kings Park. The gathering provided a fantastic opportunity for attendees to connect and network with fellow subsea professionals, setting an exciting tone for the event ahead.
The conference officially commenced on 29th October, with a warm welcome from Brett Phillips, Chair of Perth SUT. Spanning two days, 29th and 30th October, the event featured a series of thought-provoking presentations from leading figures in the subsea controls industry, engaging panel discussions, and dynamic speed pitches showcasing cutting-edge technologies.
Viper Innovations had a strong presence at the exhibition, with Daniel Denning and Thomas McCudden representing the company on the Viper stand. Once again, Viper demonstrated their strong commitment to this key Australian event by proudly sponsoring it as a major partner, alongside Chevron and Woodside.
On day two, Daniel Denning took the stage to present a ground-breaking case study on Viper’s collaboration with J+S Subsea and Verlume. This pioneering joint project delivered a ‘world’s first’ solution for a Canadian operator, enabling maintenance of IR infrastructure in subsea cables while an FPSO was disconnected—a remarkable achievement for the industry. The conference wrapped up with closing drinks, providing a final opportunity for attendees to network and reflect on the insights shared before heading home.
