Viper Innovations is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Davies as its new Managing Director, effective from 1st June 2020.
The appointment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Portishead and Aberdeen based company and will see Edward lead the delivery of Viper’s ambitious growth plans to increase International sales in both the subsea oil & gas and railway industries.

Edward brings 20 years experience working with fast growing businesses as a consultant, non-executive and executive director. A solicitor by background, he most recently acted as advisor to the founders of engineering company Adey from start up in 2003, before taking on the full time, executive position of Chief Operating Officer in 2015. He was pivotal in developing and overseeing a strategy that saw a transformation in the business to position it for further rapid growth, international expansion and to undertake strategic acquisition work.

Edward succeeds Neil Douglas, who along with Max Nodder founded the company in 2007. Neil, together with Max will both remain on the Board of Directors of Viper Innovations. Max will continue in a business development capacity and Neil will take on an engineering and business development role to support the business growth.
