HR Apprentice

Location: Portishead.

The Role:
This role would be suitable for anyone looking to start a career in HR. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of different HR tasks and projects which will enable the individual to gain a wide experience of the HR function. There will be opportunities for the individual to grow during their apprenticeship and achieve Level 3 CIPD qualification.

Day to Day responsibilities:
Over time you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and ensuring employee files are up to date and secure.
  • Managing the administrative process of ‘PeopleHR’ cloud-based HR portal ensuring all records are up to  date.
  • Assist in organising candidate management, interviews and selection activities and liaise with recruitment  agencies where necessary.
  • Assist in the onboarding process by ensuring that all paperwork is organised and sent out in a timely manner.
  • Assist with organising company inductions.
  • Administer the TOIL and holiday sell/buy-back arrangements for each employee.
  • Assist in the administration of the company benefits schemes
  • Any on-going HR projects

The Person:
We are looking for a motivated individual who has a passion to build their career in HR. The successful individual must have a pro-active and positive attitude, clear communications skills both written and verbal and have experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
