PRESS RELEASE: Viper Innovations Celebrates Continued Success in Nigeria, in Collaboration with Cranium Engineering Limited

Viper Innovations and Cranium Engineering are celebrating the success of their collaboration in a recent deployment of Viper’s award-winning V-LIFE technology on a major deepwater operator’s asset in Nigeria. The operator reported seeing the benefits of V-LIFE’s technology for recovering low insulation resistance (IR), which responded quickly to increase the IR level on the channel and mitigated a loss of production.
Viper Innovations signed a marketing and distribution agreement in 2022 with Cranium Engineering, a leading provider of engineering solutions for the African offshore industry, providing project management and specialist engineering services in a range of core areas. The arrangement has enabled Viper to enhance its relationship with clients in Nigeria to bring the benefits of Viper’s cutting-edge insulation resistance monitoring and recovery technology to the Nigerian market.
Nigeria is one of a number of key global markets for Viper, where expanding upon previous successful deployments of V-LIFE in the region presents an attractive opportunity for growth in the region. The OEC reports that in 2021 Nigeria’s 1st most exported product was Crude Petroleum with $41.8B’s worth exported; resulting in the country ranking as the 7th largest exporter in the world. Investing in technology such as Viper’s award-winning control system monitoring and recovery solutions to ensure that operators in the region can ensure continued production of their critical assets is key.
