James has been a key member of Viper since joining in August 2020, driving the business forward in his role as Sales (subsea) and Delivery Manager along with being a key member of the operational management board. James brings a wealth of leadership experience from his previous roles as Engineering Manager for GE Oil & Gas UK and in Vice President & Engineering Manager positions for Aker Solutions Malaysia. A skilled engineer and sales executive, his leadership and management skills will now benefit the business more widely from this board position.

The new addition to the company’s board reflects the significant, consistent growth and diversification of Viper’s technology into new sectors and applications. As part of its ambitious global growth strategy, the company has invested in increasing its support, local presence and focus in key markets including the Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, Norway, China, Malaysia and Australia. This growth has also been reflected in the expansion of Viper’s core engineering team who are dedicated to delivering the significant R&D activity required to support future products and markets.
